Family portraiture has taken a hold of me! I have become so profoundly aware of the importance of photographs when my children's father passed away unexpectedly in November. How the financial investment pales in comparison to having cherished moments and fleeting memories forever memorialized! Forever!!!!!
This year, I will be taking on more and more family portraits---encouraging parents with little ones to savor each delicious (and yes, sometimes bitter lol) moment. Parents who may be in a season similar to mine, with a tween and teenager, need to delight in this finite amount of time we have been given to turn memories into tangible, printable photographs and albums! I am challenging myself to do this more too!
So...in honor of all of this, I am thrilled to share the Zolina family with all of you. They have created a family strong in love, patience and laughter! During our session together we explored the shoreline of Folsom lake, snapping pictures, playing and celebrating what it is to be a family in its own beautiful "everydayness".
