During what has been a very wet October, Mother Nature yet again threatened to dampen this wedding day. But, fortunately, she was on our side and held out just long enough to hold the ceremony and bridal portraits outdoors---it was a total downpour thereafter! I was so thankful, because Amber surprised me with a gorgeous, gold velvet chaise lounge that truly has made my whole life that much sweeter lol, and I was able to take full advantage of all its glory! Not to mention, Amber and Israel wouldn't have looked nearly as Hollywood glam, Amber with her merlot lips and Israel in his dapper navy blue suit, as incredibly as they did with wet and wind blown hair!!l
These two beautiful people have already created an incredible family together, each having their own individual children, who are now joined together as sisters. Isn't it incredible---two tiny, individual lives, who may not have ever had the opportunity to meet now get to be siblings, all because their parents met and fell in love!! I just love when God's plan comes together so perfectly. Amber and Israel both said individual vows to one another's children during the ceremony, and yes it may have made this little photog more than a little misty eyed (than goodness for auto focus lol). The sentiment of choosing to help nurture, protect and love a child not biologically your own is just touching. Thank you Amber and Israel for inviting me into your day of celebration, love and family--I can not wait to see how your family evolves (and hopefully grows). xo
