Engagement | Alicia & Andrew

Sometimes during our sessions, I enjoy playing word association games with my couples. I asked Andrew, what is the first word you think of when I say "Alicia"...his response was, "gift". You guys, could there be a better response? Could there be a better way for a man to think of his partner other than a precious gift? To be treasured, and adored and loved in such a meaningful way? These two captured my heart during this session, and I can wait for the GIFT of their wedding at the beautiful Vizcaya this Spring.

Engagement | Allison & Matt

Ok, so both of these people work in the "fish" industry.  Ali at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Matt is in natural resource protection and once managed a fish shop---and the really cool part----they met "while fishing" on PlentyOfFish.com.  For their first date, Ali made Matt meet her parents, and leave his fingerprints on a water glass in case he was an internet psycho--I just about died laughing when I heard that. But, hey, safety-first right! Enjoy this peak into the engagement session of two of my favorite "outdoorsmen---err persons".  We had fun exploring Folsom Lake---and thankfully none of us got poison oak, and all the ticks were left behind! xo

Engagement | Jessica & Jeremy

After photographing a couple for their wedding or engagement session, I come away with a deeper understanding and perspective on what it is to be connected with another person.  Jess and Jeremy have the kind of bond that allows them to celebrate giggles at inside jokes, sweet tender kisses, and I thoroughly just enjoyed snapping away as they were lost in one another.  Enjoy some of my favorites from their recent downtown Sacramento engagement session...xo
