Summer in Northern California is nearly synonymous with forest fires. Alas, just days before Jenna and Hector's Forest House Lodge wedding, a fire broke out in Foresthill, threatening not just their wedding day, but homes and other structures in the area. This bride and groom kept their spirits positive, and smile plastered across their faces as they crossed their fingers and said their prayers that the "show would go on". On the day of their wedding, the evacuation area was far enough away to allow just that, and they said their 'I Do's". Yes, the air was smokey, and the sun shone orange through the haze, but nothing could prevent this amazing couple from shining even brighter than it all. We always love shooting at the Forest House Lodge, and having a former JRP couple amongst the bridal party made this day even sweeter. We adore Jenna & Hector and are overjoyed to have been a part of their day. Enjoy this peak into the beginning of their forever! xo
